That  the Chief Executive looks in to providing a second entrance to the Tallaght hospital through cookstown industrial estate this would provide less traffic going out the main entrance and help stop the present gridlock at times.it will also help people that travel to the hospital from all the different areas of the county and assist as another rout for the ambulance service to the hospital.  

"To ask the Chief Executive that 2 swings recently erected on trees opposite 44-48 Alpine Rise be removed. It has become a gathering spot for teenagers and impinge on road safety".

"To ask the Chief Executive if the bushes on the road outside of the Garda Station, just directly before the Zebra Crossing, be cut down to height that will allow for drivers to see pedestrians coming towards the crossing".

This area has become totally overgrown and while I understand that some of these meadows are to create bio-diversity within the county, this overgrowth has totally covered over the stream."

"Also, to ask the Chief Executive if the Bolbrook bridge can be scheduled for painting and repairs in this area too. The bars on the bridge have become rusted and are taking away from the general appearance of the area."

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to consider the provision of a set of soccer goalposts on the main green space in DeSelby, Tallaght to be used as a Community amenity for the area.

That this Committee establish an action plan to the main entry routes into Tallaght which are seriously in need of upgrading & public realm improvements - The N81, the Greenhills Road, Fettercairn/Cheeverstown Road and the Belgard Roads.

That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to please give a report on the boundry wall at Swiftbrook Estate, Tallaght. This wall has been down a considerable time and residents are frustrated at the delay in the wall been rebuilt.

That this Committe requests that a bench be erected at the Tree of Hope in the Dodder Park opposite the end of Seskin View Park as dozens of people have been observed to stand there in reflection over their deceased loved ones every day.

That this Committee requests that South Dublin County Council reverse it's decision to cut the funding to the South Dublin County Partnership and reinstate the 4 Supervisory positions in the Jobstown Play Space.

That this Committee supports a request by Scoil Aonghusa Senior School in Balrothery to have the field adjacent to the school converted to a Gaelic Pitch for use by the students of the school. The school have a very successful senior boys and a girls team and have played and won in Croke Park as part of Cumann Na MBunscol over the past few years. This request has come from a teacher in the school who is also the Gaelic Coach. The field is currently going to waste as it is not being used for any sports matches or competitions, because of this there has been an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area. This committee believes that if we put up Gaelic goals on the field it would not only be a benefit for the children in the school but also the community as a whole. The school currently use Thomas Davis' all weather pitch for our home matches as the field as it is, is unsuitable for Gaelic. This costs the school a lot of money and will not be feasible in the long run.

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to arrange for an assessment of the trees in the rear garden of Kiltalown House with a view to pruning any low hanging branches to improve security surveillance on the property which has been the subject of a number of "break-ins" over the last month.

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to assess in detail the issue of anti social behaviour at Cushlawn Parade/Park and its significant negative impact on residents on the Road and to further investigate what Estate Management related measures could be introduced to reduce the attractiveness of the Road to anti social elements such as removing the "Anchor" on the Road and replacing it with an alternative measure that serves the same purpose as the anchor was originally intended for.

That this Council initiate an inspection of recent infill housing in the Tallaght South area particularly in Kilclare, Jobstown and in Rossfield with a view to establishing a reason for the rapid disintegration of window frames in a short time spell of the unit.

"To ask the Chief Executive if the road adjacent to the Square Luas stop and the junction on to Belgard Square West can be inspected. The white lines on this road have become badly faded and this is causing a danger to drivers as a result".

The location will be inspected and any necessary line re-painting will be carried out.

That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to have the speed limit reduced on the Blessington Road outside the Glenareen Cottages.  Additionally, to have the white line changed to a broken white line were residents are crossing over into their properties.

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to carry out lighting improvement works to the Charlie O'Toole bridge and general vicinity. Many older people from the area who use the bridge and have contacted me saying that they are fearful of crossing after dark due to the poor lighting which currently exists in the environs.

That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to report on the serious risk to health and safety at the new road lay out at Springfield in Tallaght . The new road lay out will create a serious risk to health and safety due to the close nature of sporting games been played at St Marks GAA Club. The pitches are very close to the roadway and a curtain net will be required to stop cars been hit with football and slitters when games are taking place at this venue.
