QUESTION NO. 11

QUESTION: Councillor M. Devine

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the New Bancroft Development and if the Council have been in negotiations to acquire some units?"

REPLY:

Planning permission SD14A/0176 granted approval for the construstion of 123 residential units at New Bancroft, Tallaght.

Agreement was reached with the developer in respect of procuring 19 units in relation to the developer's Part V requirement. These 19 units will be purchased and managed  by Cluid Housing Body through a combination of monies from the Capital Acquisition Scheme ( CAS ) and Capital Adavanced Leasing Facility ( C.A.L.F.)

A further 30 units were approved for this development under a revision to Planning Permission SD14A/0176. In this regard, discussions are ongoing with the developer regarding the Part V yield for this part of the development.

The target date for completion of this development is mid 2016.
