MOTION: Councillor B. Leech

That this Committee requests that South Dublin County Council reverse it's decision to cut the funding to the South Dublin County Partnership and reinstate the 4 Supervisory positions in the Jobstown Play Space.

REPORT:

Following an application to the Council for a substantial increase in monies for the funding of the Jobstown Playground Supervision Service the Council is currently in discussions with the South Dublin County Partnership company in relation to the future role and funding of this service. The status quo will remain in place until these discussions are finalised.
