MOTION NO.9

MOTION: Councillor B. Leech

That this Council initiate an inspection of recent infill housing in the Tallaght South area particularly in Kilclare, Jobstown and in Rossfield with a view to establishing a reason for the rapid disintegration of window frames in a short time spell of the unit. 

  

REPORT:

Housing Maintenance records do not show an inordinate number of requests for repairs to windows in any infill housing in the areas listed.

The Arcitects Department Windows Inspector also reports that he is uaware of any major issues with windows in infill housing in the Tallaght area.

However inspections can be initiated upon reciept of more specific locations /addresses.
