QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to present an update on plans to provide a Sports Pavilion at Dodder Valley Park, Tallaght, confirming the schedule being followed and giving details of the exact location and will he also outline proposals to deal with local views and concerns already brought to his attention particularly by Parkwood Residents Association?"

REPLY: 

Plans for the proposed pavilion at Old Bawn Park, Dodder Valley are currently being prepared for tendering. The location is as identified in the Part 8 Public Consultation report noted by the Council in 2008 and any changes proposed will be communicated to the Council.

The Council has been in communication with the Parkwood Residents Association and the group also attended a Deputations Meeting with the Council on the 23rd September 2015 and where the proposal and the concerns of the group were discussed.
