MOTION: Councillor D. Richardson

That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to please give a report on the boundry wall at Swiftbrook Estate, Tallaght. This wall has been down a considerable time and residents are frustrated at the delay in the wall been rebuilt. 

REPORT:

Following consultation with representatives from Swiftbrook over the summer months, the extent of the proposals which encompass the reconstruction of the damaged sections of wall, the reinstatement of the railings including access for pedestrians and the planting of a hedge inside the boundary was agreed. It is intended to advertise this project for tender in October 2015 following completion of the necessary tender documentation.
