Several constituents in Clondalkin have contacted me with complaints that Greyhound are overcharging for bins in that the weight they are charging for is often significantly heavier than the actual weight of the bin.  Can the manager assist with this issue as Greyhound  are refusing to communicate with the customer in relation to the problem.  Alternately, who can assist customers with this type of issue?

A constituent has to dress a skin graft wound on her son daily.  A large quantity of used dressings are produced.  To ask the Manager if these can be put into the black bin or is there a requirement that they would be disposed of as medical waste?

To ask the Manager for a resident in (address supplied), who is requesting that a bridge be built to provide access from his road across the river to Rathcoole Park.  He says that there was always access via stepping stones etc at this location.  He says residents of his road would like to enjoy the amenities of the park and be able to go there on foot. What are the possibilities of this?

To ask the Manager to address the problem of cars driving through the Green area at Lindisfarne Green, Bawnouge.  Can Parks install something on the green…railing/barrier to prevent cars driving through it and endangering childrens' lives. There is a huge wall on the Green so children cannot see the cars, nor can the cars see the children?

That this Committee congratulates and commends all concerned with the marvellous facility that is Grange Castle Golf Club, the SDCC grounds staff for the fantastic presentation of the course, the Management team for the running of the facility and the Golf Club for their continuous promotion of the game particularly making it available to the younger generation in the county.

To ask the Manager when the new traffic lights in Saggart will be turned on? Since the resurfacing works, cars are going through the cross roads at speed due to the removal of the ramp. It can be very dangerous at peak times to get across from the village to Castle Road as the traffic is travelling at speed.

That this Committee be updated with a realistic report regarding the ongoing problem of 1a St. Patricks Road, Clondalkin.  This fine house in now unused for 5 years and what is required is the transfer to this Council of the overlooked land strip which was included in the garden.  This matter has to be solved, it is ludicrous that the Council cannot bring this problem to an end.
