QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

To ask the Manager to provide me with the following information in relation to the Neilstown Boxing Club premises?

1. Leak in Roof

2. Problems with heating system

3. The issue of lease from South Dublin County Council to the Club for premises

REPLY:

The main contractor, the roofer and SDCC staff have met on site and have identified the cause of the leak. The roof has now been repaired. The heating system has been audited by SDCC staff and the mechanical contractor. Further investigative works are scheduled for 11th May with a view to bringing the heating system up to optimum capacity.

 Discussions are ongoing concerning the model of management most suitable for the club.
