"That this Committee supports the re-instatement of the vandalised railings at Alpine Rise, Belgard, and Cookstown Roundabout."
"That this Committee calls on the Manager, to write to the Department of Education and Science and the Minister for Education personally to express this Committees complete dissatisfaction with the fact that we are waiting for a response regarding the identification of a site for Scoil Cáitlín Maude in Knockmore since a motion in my name was passed in June of 2007 and that we find it unacceptable that the pupils and staff of the School and the Staff and elected representatives of this Council continue to be ignored despite the many reminder letters that have been sent to the Department regarding the request by the administration staff of this Committee".
"That this Council Committe calls on the Manager to draw up a list of community facilities in the area that are awaiting a Lease or Licience Agreement from this Local Authority and calls on him to carry out an audit of application funds that are outstanding from Central Government that up to now, have not been drawn down, per project because of the lengthy delay".

"That the ramp located on Firhouse Road West adjacent to Tymon Bawn Community Centre and residential dwellings be removed, and appropriate alternative traffic calming eg traffic island, be put in place."
"that this committee agrees to the installation of filter lights on the Firhouse road west, at the Aylesbury and Old Bawn junction, allowing traffic to escape right into the shopping district of Aylesbury from the northern end of the road and equally a right filter light to allow traffic enter Old Bawn estate when travelling from the southern end of the road".

That this committee requests the manager to make contact with Maplewood Homes asking them to carry out relevant repairs on Beechdale way as a burnt out car caused damage to the road and as its not in the control of the council the developer is still responsible and the matter be discussed.

That this Committee requests the Corporate Services Dept., to write to the Minister for Education Mr. B. O Keefe, T.D.,urging him not to let the School Hall at Firhouse C.C. and Killinarden C.S., close, and that he provide funding for these important local facilities.
"That this Council Committee concerned at the difficulties being experienced by students attending the local IT in Tallaght, their lack of any shelter at the bus stop on the Old Blessington Road opposite St Maelruans Church and at the long and unnescessary delay in the erection of any shelter at this site, agrees to call on the manager to immediately contact Bus Atha Cliath to resolve this issue as a matter of urgency".
"That this committee calls on the Manager to write to Dublin Bus requesting an alternative bus stop to be placed in the vicinity of the recently controversially removed stop opposite the main entrance to the De Selby estate on the Blessington Road as a matter of urgency - the removal of this stop is causing enormous hardship to residents of the De Selby and surrounding areas who are dependent on Dublin Bus as their primary mode of transport, particularly at this time of year given bad weather, low visibility at night etc".
That this Committee condemns the cuts in funding to the schools in Tallaght, as announced in Budget 2008, and requests Corporate Services to convey to the Minister for Education, the opposition of the elected local Councillors to the reduction in funding.
