"That this Committee calls on the Manager, to write to the Department of Education and Science and the Minister for Education personally to express this Committees complete dissatisfaction with the fact that we are waiting for a response regarding the identification of a site for Scoil Cáitlín Maude in Knockmore since a motion in my name was passed in June of 2007 and that we find it unacceptable that the pupils and staff of the School and the Staff and elected representatives of this Council continue to be ignored despite the many reminder letters that have been sent to the Department regarding the request by the administration staff of this Committee".

"That this committee calls on the Manager to write to Dublin Bus requesting an alternative bus stop to be placed in the vicinity of the recently controversially removed stop opposite the main entrance to the De Selby estate on the Blessington Road as a matter of urgency - the removal of this stop is causing enormous hardship to residents of the De Selby and surrounding areas who are dependent on Dublin Bus as their primary mode of transport, particularly at this time of year given bad weather, low visibility at night etc".
