Fortunestown/Garter Lane Local Area Plan
Report
Following a pre-draft public consultation process that was carried out between 14th April and 23rd May 2008, and the receipt of 24 submissions, the Manager’s Report on Submissions Received and the Draft Fortunestown/ Garter Lane Local Area Plan have been prepared.
The next stage in the process is to put the Draft Local Area Plan on public display for a period of six weeks, and to invite observations and submissions. When the display period has elapsed, following consideration of any submissions received, a report and recommendation will be brought to the Council with a view to the Plan being formally adopted.
The Local Area Plan will remain in force for a period of six years following its adoption unless amended by the Council.
It is recommended that this Committee agree to the publication of the Draft and the initiation of the formal consultation process.
