To ask the Manager the how long the Killinarden/Kiltipper Area Action Plan is valid for as it is nearly ten years old and is an inadequate framework for the existing infrastructure requirements for the Killinarden/Kiltipper Area and will he make a statement on the matter?"
To ask the Manager to outline in detail the history of the illegal traveller encampment that exists to the rear of a privately owned bungalow property on the Fortunestown Lane - to indicate what progress this issue has made to date in its legal process so that residents in the surrounding areas who are significantly inconvenienced and intimidated by this illegal development can review fully the Council's commitment and efficiency in the matter?

That the Manager undertakes on an estate by estate basis in Tallaght an inspection to identify all dwellings that are breaching planning regulations by erecting satellite dishes at the front of the properties and to ensure that action is taken such as making owners aware of the regulations and requesting that the dish is removed.
That this Committee requests the Planning Department outline their plans for Disabled Parking in Tallaght Village and detail planning law pertaining to the provision of Disabled Parking in new developments
That the Manager indicates what steps have been taken by this Council in order to ensure compliance with planning permission relating to the Belfry estate, Citywest with regard to the marking out of car parking spaces with lines, that if this has not been completed a year after it was first raised in this chamber what the Manager proposes to do to ensure compliance as this is a source of great inconvienience for residents of the Belfry.

"To ask the Manager to review the new road layout on the Blessington Road at its junction with the Hazel Hill Traveller development in terms of safety such as the adequacy of street lighting in the vicinity of the junction, indication of road layout changes on approaching the junction and an assessment of pedestrian safety once the traffic lights are fully operational after this dangerous bend in the road?"
To ask the manager when the rebuilding of the footbridge over the N81 between St Dominic's and Tallaght Village with be completed and will he make a statement on the matter?
Could the Manager please update on the status of the street lighting which is being worked on outside the Belgard Fire station
“To ask the Manager if he would install as a matter of urgency railings at the cul de sac wall of *details supplied, as a means of preventing incursions into this area from those intent on involving themselves in anti-social behaviour, and if he would recognise the continuous calls on the part of this community for South Dublin County Council to take action against some elements in the adjoining Estate who persist in causing havoc, and if he will make a statement on the matter?”

That the Manager presents to this Committee at the next Tallaght Area 2 meeting a report on the boundary treatment to be provided on the current under construction phase of the Outer Ring Road - noting that this Committee insists that this boundary treatment is equivalent or superior to the boundary treatment carried out along the already constructed Grangecastle section of this road and to state the estimated completition date for this project.
'That this Committee supports the use of heavy machinery on roadworks at Embankment road before 11 o'clock as the agreement with residents of the Kilnamanagh estate who met with the contractor and a representative of the Council on Wednesday 19th September and he fulfills his committments to them in relation to the other issues that were raised and the matter be discussed'
That this Committee requeststhat funding be provided in the 2008 Council Budget to enable new public lighting to be provided at locations (some of which have already been identified to Roads & Traffic Dept) where no public lighting is in place currently.
That this committee supports a review of road safety measures relevant to cyclists, pedestrians and motorists on Whitestown Way Tallaght

That this Committee calls on the Council management to make representations to Dublin Bus about the need to re-instate a bus link between Ballycullen and the rapidly developing Woodstown/Stocking Avenue/Ballycullen area and Tallaght Town Centre and that Dublin Bus should examine linking the Ballyboden area of SDCC with Tallaght Town Centre via Ballycullen.
