QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren

“To ask the Manager if he would ensure that the pillars and railings at the entrance to Dodder Valley Park in Firhouse could be repainted as part of the general road scheme concerning Firhouse Road, and if he could set out what additional actions he is proposing to take to generally improve the environment at the entrance to Dodder Valley Park as part of this road scheme, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”

REPLY:

It has already been agreed to repaint 5 no. pillars and associated railings at the entrance to this estate when the Firhouse Road works are complete. As part of this road scheme a new footpath and cycletrack will be constructed at the entrance to Dodder Valley Park. The area between the back of the footpath and boundary wall to the estate will be landscaped and planted.
