MOTION: Councillor J. Hannon

That this Committee requests that funding be provided in the 2008 Council Budget to enable new public lighting to be provided at locations (some of which have already been identified to Roads & Traffic Dept) where no public lighting is in place currently.

REPORT:

The installation of additional public lighting will be considered as part of the 2008 budget allocation. Consideration of the 2008 budget provision will commence in December 2007.
