That this committee agrees that given the prevalence of pressurized nitrous oxide cannisters being discarded in the Clondalkin area that South Dublin County Council advise of a safe way for their disposal when found by members of the public and to indicate what supports can be offered either by way of a public information statement or direct instruction by South Dublin County Council to help the public in the disposal of these items.

That this Area Committee requests that the manager de-weed the fishing lakes in Corkagh Park. Fish are slowly suffocating with the lack of oxygenated water.

That this Area Committee requests signs be provided which advise against the taking of birds or interfering with any wildlife, to also highlight the dangers of this to people. Also if these could include information about birds and the advisable foods to feed them. There are groups that could be consulted re this Bray Swan Sanctuary, Birdwatch Ireland and Kildare Wildlife Rescue.

That this Area Committee supports Clondalkin Tidy Towns call for a Name stone naming and remembering all those that died in world war 1 from Clondalkin at the site of the proposed World War 1 Memorial. This has been ongoing since 2014. Clondalkin Tidy Towns have the funding to undertake this work they just need permission from SDCC to go ahead. Could SDCC meet with the Clondalkin Tidy Towns to plan this memorial going forward?

That this Area Committee requests that SDCC look at how they could enforce dogs on leads around the pond-stream in Rathcoole Park and that SDCC look at increasing signage to deal with this and get the dog warden to do regular checks of this area. Also to ask that the planned Dog park is away from the pond-stream area. There has been an issue of dogs attacking wildlife in this area and some report feeling unsafe with dogs off the lead around this area.

That this Area Committee support Bawnogue community centres call for a wheelchair accessible toilet to be installed to allow the centre  to be inclusive to all of the Community. The centre has plans to extend it's service provision to people with disability and additional needs and to achieve this they require a fully accessible disability toilet. We ask for a full report into what needs to happen to get this completed.

That this Area Committee agrees that the bike lane between the pedestrian and bike bridge over the N7 at the Red Cow Hotel, and the LUAS Red Cow station should have its markings painted post haste. It has been well established that responsibility for this bike lane rests with SDCC. Related to this, the branches of trees which are blocking the bike lane between the pedestrian bridge and the Kylemore Road on the city bound side of the N7 should also be cut back post haste.
