MOTION: Councillor Eoin Ó Broin

That this Area Committee agrees that SDCC has sufficient capacity to landscape the two roundabouts at the junction of the Fonthill and New Nangor Road post haste.

REPORT:

The two roundabouts at the junction of the Fonthill and New Nangor Road are listed in the 2022 Public Realm Improvement Works Programme for upgrading.  The works will involve surfacing a 2-metre-wide section of the perimeter of the roundabouts in a buff-coloured macadam.  The surfacing works are scheduled for October.  Once this has been completed a cleanup of the roundabouts will take place.
