QUESTION: Councillor William Joseph Carey

To ask the manager if he can outline any plans for energy saving proposals at Clondalkin civic offices throughout the autumn and winter period and if these have been agreed with staff?

REPLY:

The Council endeavours to improve energy efficiency by 40% by 2030, as set out in the SDCC Climate Action Plan 2019 – 2024.

Energy Audits will be procured for County Hall, Tallaght and Clondalkin Civic Offices as part of improvement in Energy Efficiency.

Work to date has been the roll out of replacement of office lighting with LEDs.
