"That the Chief Executive report on traffic studies carried out since schools reopened in September in the block including Gaelscoil Naomh Padraig, Gaelscoil Eiscir Riada, Colaiste Cois Life and Esker Educate Together and provide an update on plans that have been or are planned to be implemented in the coming months to improve pedestrian safety, safe traffic flow and responsible parking in the vicinity, given concerns addressed to this Council and its elected members; to ensure that the principals concerned and parents associations continue to be kept in the loop; and if he will make a statement on the matter."
"That the necessary arrangements be initiated to extinquish the right of way at the bottom of Liffey Close Lucan as per petition (supplied) of the residents as this is a most dangerous pedestrian exit of serious concern to parents of young children in the area and a source of anti-social behaviour including house breaking in this relatively quite cul de sac."
"That this Committee requests SDDC to examine the pedestrian access between the Irish Wheelchair Association, the Maxol garage and Lucan Sarsfields GAA club on the Newcastle road with a view to extending the existing pedestrian pathway to give safe access to the aforementioned."

- Firstly, include a new orbital route linking Lucan Village, Clondalkin & Tallaght (similar to the previously proposed No. 166 Dublin Bus route) as part of the upcoming competitive tendering process of 10% of routes in Dublin; and
-
- Secondly, seek the introduction of the previously-proposed 25C route from Adamstown to City Centre, via Newcastle Road and the N4-Newcastle Road interchange, to be provided by Dublin Bus or a private operator; while protecting and where possible expanding the carrying-capacity of the existing 25A & 25B routes."

"That the Chief Executive, in responding to an upsurge of complaints from neighbouring estates in recent days about antisocial behaviour in Willsbrook Park in the runup to Halloween, with people with small children being verbally abused while out for a walk, an increase in broken bottles and general intimidation, bins being ransacked for bonfires etc; and noting that there were serious assaults some years ago when the issue was let get out of hand; reviews its policy and operation to further discourage such behaviour; investigates a capital investment to close off the park during hours of darkness whilst retaining a narrow access between Esker Lane and Esker Park via the pedestrian bridge; investigates CCTV installation as an option and gives a costed report in this regard; and liaises with An Garda Siochana to seek additional visible patrols, especially the very effective Garda Mountain Bike Units; and if he will make a statement on the matter.”
