QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

"To ask the Chief Executive if he will examine the road drainage near the parking bays in the vicinity of the Ulster Bank and The Coach House, as they are prone to flooding during wet weather; and especially to ensure that they are not blocked by fallen and swept leaves during the winter months?"

REPLY:

The Area Engineer will be requested to inspect the drainage gullies in the area. Any necessary cleaning will be carried out by the Palmerston Road Maintenance depot crews.
