Residents of North Clondalkin are interested in developing a scrambler park in order to address the serious problem of young people riding scrambler motorbikes on parks and roadways there.To ask the Chief Executive what assistance can be given to them by the council?
To ask the Chief Executive to explain the charges at Saggart Cemetery. Are there graves currently available there and what is the cost? Also, is there a charge for permission to erect a headstone? If so why, and where does the money raised go.
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the untended and overgrown grass verge on the road from The Ninth Lock road to Bawnogue, the section from the lights to the Black Path.
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the issue of the reporting of rats to the Council and the HSE in Clondalkin in the past 12 months and detailing the procedures for residents and Councillors when dealing with reported sightings of rats?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the replacement of special needs swings at the playground in Quarryvale Park explaining why it took over a year to replace one broken swing and to indicate whether the second swing has been replaced?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide the tree pruning schedule for the Clondalkin LEA?
To ask the Chief Executive how many horses to date have been impounded in the Clondalkin area for the year beginning in 2014?
To ask the Chief Executive how many horses have been impounded in the Clondalkin area over the summer period from April 1st to September 1st and at what cost thus far has this surmounted to from the period stated?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report detailing actions taken by the Council following the Boot Road residents deputation earlier this year and a time line for implementing the various requests made by the residents during the deputation and the subsequent site visit?
To ask the Chief Executive to ascertain the current situation of the proposed playground for Newcastle. Has the €120,000 been made available and has a site been identified? What is the timeline for starting and finishing this much needed facility?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a Cleansing Schedule for Newcastle village?

That the Chief Executive installs a number of "fine for dog fouling" signs in Willow Drive, Avenue, at Green Park shops and the green area.
That the Clondalkin Area Committee fully support the Clondalkin Equine Club and as a Group write to South Dublin County Council and ask that this worthwhile and much needed club be funded and supported by SDCC.

That this area committee clarify and revisit the poster ban which was put in place a number of years ago in the centre of the village. This was a gentleman's agreement which should be revisited according to the new composition of the area committee.

To ask the Chief Executive if there is anything SDCC can do about the scramblers and quads on Shancastle Green and Glenfield Green? This is a health and safety issue for users of both Greens.

This Committee agrees that the Chief Executive bring forward a report to the October Area Committee detailing proposed sites for social housing across the Clondalkin LEA, which if agreed by the Committee, would then be worked up as Part 8 proposals.
That the Chief Executive erects proper fencing / wall to block off the building on Orchard Lane looking into Castle estate, the previous fencing didnt block it off.
That the Clondalkin Area committee calls on South Dublin County Council to issue a plan to deal with the growing housing issue and that this plan includes access to open green spaces and facilities.

To ask the Chief Executive what can be done to improve the safety of pedestrians who use the pedestrian crossing at Tesco on Convent Road, Clondalkin? There is a road sign obscuring the orange light for drivers who are coming from Boot road direction. The crossing is not raised like the newer one on New Road. Addressing these issues might improve the situation. There have been near misses at this location on an ongoing basis.
A disabled resident whose address I have supplied would like double yellow lines removed from outside the house in order to improve accessibility. To ask the Chief Executive can this be done?

Dublin, with particular reference to parking along the Fitzmaurice Road opposite Avoca, in estates like Broadfield where cars park along greens and along main street where cars illegally park at the take aways next to Tesco, and that the report address what provisions could be made to alleviate this.
Given the difficulties being experienced by residents in Floraville, St Anthony's Avenue and other parts of Clondalkin at school opening and closing times, by parents dropping off and collecting children obstructing driveways and damaging grass verges and obstructing the school entrance by illegal parking, could the Chief Executive present a report on what can be done to address this problem.
