QUESTION NO. 9
QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report detailing actions taken by the Council following the Boot Road residents deputation earlier this year and a time line for implementing the various requests made by the residents during the deputation and the subsequent site visit?
REPLY:
Staff from the Public Realm Section met with the residents on site and identified a suitable location for a flower bed. Arrangements were also made to organise regular collections of material following community cleanups.
Road signs have been ordered and will be installed at the various locations previously agreed with the residents. These signs will identify the locations of numbered houses in the Boot Road area. Additionally Street Name Plates are being provided for Boot Road and Rockfield Drive.
