This bin is frequently used by dog walkers to dispose of their doggy poo bags. However, when it is full people continue to put the bags beside the bin creating a health and safety issue for the children in the local estate and attending the school?"

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for an immediate 'crack-down' on illegal dumping in Kiltalown Estate as those carrying out this significant anti-Community activity is destroying Community Morale and destroying the look and the reputation of the Estate".

That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide outdoor exercise equipment on the primeter of the green space between Tamerisk and Tree Park estates in Kilnamanagh, adjacent to the playing pitches, to help promote physical activity for all ages.
That this Committee calls for an increase in the frequency of Council maintenance of Keadeen Walkway in Greenpark to every 2 months, at least, given the significant use of this walkway and the requirement for cleansing and other maintenance.
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the removal of dumped material at the green space at Kiltalown Green/Heights and that the grass be cut immediately and be put on a regular schedule as it has never been cut on a regular basis making it an attraction to dumpers"
That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide public benches adjacent to large open green spaces or at ring roads in locations such as Kilnamanagh, Kingswood, Belgard, etc to provide comfort for our elderly pedestrians.
That, having regard to ongoing anti-social activities in Dodder Park (adjacent to New Bawn Park) impacting adversely of nearby residents, appropriate action be taken, including
Cut back shrubbery at ESB sub-station and have dressing rooms painted
Regular patrols by park wardens
Liaison with Gardai so as to provide visible presence, particularly at weekends

"That the Manager provide a report outlining how many homes in Tallaght have had their windows and doors replaced under the windows and doors programme so far this year and how much of the fund has been spent to date overall and how much is left in the fund".
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to carry out an assessment of those people tenanted by Sophia Housing in Russell Square to establish if all Sophia tenants continue to require this form of transitional Housing and the supports associated with it. If it is established that there are those not in need of these supports anymore, that they be re-housed in standard accommodation and those in need of additional supports housed within the Sophia homes".

This Committee also calls for the rollout of the low-cost transport service for older persons for healthcare and other needs, agreed at the April County Council meeting, in the Dublin 12 area specifically given the age profile in the area.
