QUESTION: Councillor M. Devine

Can the Enviromental services issue a notice to the residents of (address supplied)  to remove significant amount of rubbish/household debris from the front garden?

REPLY:

The Litter Warden for the area carried out an inspection of  (address supplied) on 9th April 2014. He has reported that the house is currently being renovated and while some items of furniture were observed in the front garden, there was no domestic waste present.  The Litter Warden instructed the workman on site to have two (2) electrical items removed from the public footpath and left his business card to be passed on to the owner of the property, requesting that they make contact with him. He will continue to monitor the property to ensure that the items which were located in the front garden are removed in a timely fashion.
