MOTION: Councillor M. Duff

That this Committee calls on the Manager to carry out urgent repairs to the pathways throughput Tymon Park, which are badly potholed and to install new litter bins at various locations in Tymon Park.

REPORT:

A number of sections of footpaths have deteriorated in condition in recent years in Tymon park and these now need to be repaired/resurfaced. A price quotation for carrying out the necessary repairs is currently being sought from reputable tarmacadam contractors, with a view to having the worst sections dealt with as soon as possible. The provision of additional bins in the park will also be considered in the context of the limited funds currently available for improvement works in the Park.
