QUESTION NO.13
QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney
"To ask the Manager when the bins requested for Greenhills Park will be put in place; how many bins there are; where they will be placed; and how it is proposed to counter potential vandalism, for example by placing the bins outside the entrances"?
REPLY:
It is proposed to install two new bins at the entrances to Greenhills Park within the next 2/3 weeks. The bins will be strategically located outside the park to maximise usage by pedestrians entering and leaving the Park including dog owners and local schoolchildren and it is hoped that this will minimise the potential for vandalism. There is an existing public litter bin located in the vicinity of the bus terminus.
