MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the removal of dumped material at the green space at Kiltalown Green/Heights and that the grass be cut immediately and be put on a regular schedule as it has never been cut on a regular basis making it an attraction to dumpers"

REPORT:

Arrangements will be made to remove the dumped waste on the open space at Kiltalown Green/Heights within the coming days, access to this location is difficult and the location will be first examined to determine what equipment is necessary to facilitate the clean up. The area will also be examined to determine how best to schedule the grass cutting for this location, due to the sloping nature of the ground and the difficulty with access the area cannot be readily added to the regular grass cutting schedule which is carried out by ride on lawnmower in the area.
