QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to work with clubs using the new TASC Pavilion in Tymon Park with a view to opening the Limekiln Rd car park past the usual opening times, particularly at evenings and at weekends, to alleviate parking difficulties along Limekiln Rd, Kippure Avenue and Lugnaquilla Avenue, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The Council will discuss with those clubs using the new TASC pavilion any proposals they have for extending the opening times for the use of the Limekiln Road Car-Park, bearing in mind the current parking/traffic concerns in the area and the need to ensure the continued security of Tymon Park and the pavilion itself.
