That this Council will distribute bilingual historical summaries that are suitable for pupils, both secondary and primary schools, on the subject of the important hundred year commemorations that will occur over the coming years and that guidance will be given to teachers how to use the information available in the media in the classroom correctly.

The laneway beside Rye Cottage on Boot Road in Clondalkin is a source of constant annoyance to residents.  There is a lot of dumping and there is a big problem with graffitti and weed etc.  To ask the Manager can an action plan be put in place to tackle this eyesore?

That the Manager present a report on the facilities in the Clondalkin area for bicycle parking.  While the Neilstown shops has been pointed out as having no facilities at all for bicycle parking, there is hardly any bicycle parking facilities in the whole electoral area. Can a commitment be made to plan for better provision
