That this Committee calls on the Manager to pursue the owners of the Balrothery Site, Maplewood Homes, adjacent to numbers 13 and 24 Balrothery Estate, to immediately clean up the site and to take action to cut back the overgrown bushes and trim back the trees that are blocking the light into number 24 Balrothery Estate
REPORT:
The site in question will be investigated under the Derelict Sites Act l990. Following receipt of this report, the owners of the site will be written to requiring them to carry out any works deemed necessary. The site has an extensive planning history with the most recent application, Register Reference SD10A.02237 withdrawn on l7th September 20l0.
This application was for proposed residential development of 15 no. 2 storey, 3 bedroom semi-detached and terraced townhouses with optional developed roof space; new vehicular and pedestrian access from Old Blessington Road and associated site works on site bounded by Tymon North Distributor Road, Old Blessington Road
