QUESTION NO. 5

QUESTION: Councillor P. Kearns

"To ask the manager to repair the footpath on Rossmore Road ( near the open green space on the left as you drive down towards the church ) where the roots of a tree have raised the surface to a dangerous level. This area is used extensively by residents and is one of the main pathways to the local schools.I have a report of one lady having a very nasty fall there a short time ago?"

REPLY:

Roads Department are liaising with the Parks Department in relation to the removal of the trees in question. When the trees are removed, Roads staff will carry out the necessary repairs to the paths.
