That this Area Committee calls on the Manager to instruct the owner of the semi-derelict cottages at the entrance to St. Brigid's Lane to restore or demolish same (access from slip road at the Naas Road, Clondalkin).
That the Manager takes immediate action to force the owner/s of the end cottage on the city/N7 side of St Brigid's Cottages, Clondalkin to clean up and secure the house and boundary fencing which is in a highly dangerous and most unsatisfactory state of presentation.

That this Area Committee request the Manager to seek a meeting with the Minister for Justice regarding the need to assign Gardaí on a continuous and permanent basis in the specific areas where tenants are harassed and assaulted by other tenants within residential developments in the Clondalkin area to the extent of living in fear and afraid to complain to the Council or the Gardaí.
That the Manager presents a report in relation to the Balgaddy area on the need to remove or flatten the grass mounds between Foxdene Estate and the wall alongside the Adamstown Link Road.

That this Committee recommends that a survey of Rowlagh Estate, North Clondalkin be done to find out which houses had no water due to frozen pipes during the cold weather leading to a programme of works to re- lay the water pipes at a deeper level so that this problem does not recur.
That this Committee strongly supports the identification of an independent source of water and water sanitation in the Clondalkin area.
That this Committee strongly objects to the lack of a street cleaning programme in Clondalkin Village over the entire Christmas holiday which resulted in litter bins overflowing with rubbish and requests that there is a schedule in place to cover holiday periods in future.

That a new sign be put in place at St. Patrick's Avenue to replace the former sign which has disappeared and cannot be found. The sign should identify the numbers of the four houses situated in St. Patrick's Avenue. This is to eliminate confusion to assist emergency callout services who find it difficult to find addresses without a sign.
That the Manager will address the reinstatement of missing bollards, re-paint all of the bollards and lampstands and repair the dangerous footpaths in Main Street/Tower Road/Orchard Road Clondalkin. (See L/CACM1 Question & Answer 21442 20th January 2010).
That this Committee agrees to install a proper island (not a ghost island) at the T-junction at the entrance to Floraville Estate as recommended by the Road's Department at their meeting with residents a few weeks ago.

That the Manager updates this Committee on SDCC'S proposals to secure Omer Lock House which is supposedly a protected structure as requested in May 2010.
