QUESTION: Councillor T. Delaney

To ask the Manager that the grass margin on the canal side of the Fonthill Road which has overgrown out on to the cycle/foot path is cut back before it undermines the tarmac surface?

REPLY:

The maintenance and upkeep of the cycle/foot path is managed by the Road's Department. The Park's Department cuts the grass at this location on an agency basis for the Road's Department and this matter will be the subject of further discussion between the two departments.
