QUESTION NO. 3
QUESTION: Councillor R. Dowds
To ask the Manager to plant two trees at the entrance to Lindisfarne Estate, Clondalkin?
REPLY:
The Arboricultural Programme for the 2010/2011 season is again focused on maintenance rather than new plantings. As part of this focus, new planting is proposed only in a very limited number of circumstances and is based on requests received up to the Autumn of 2010. The planting of two trees at the entrance to Lindisfarne Estate will be listed for consideration for the 2011/12 season.
The purchase of trees for the 2011/2012 season will be subject to the availablity of finance at that time.
