That this Area Committee calls on the Law Department in conjunction with the Parks Department to immediately resolve the ongoing issue concerning the title of green space/public open space within Kingswood Heights and given the fact that a deed of dedication exists for these lands and the freehold was recently purchased by a third party, that the matter be resolved as soon as possible so that there is absolute certainty concerning the public ownership of these lands and the matter be discussed.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for relevant works to be carried out on Kiltalown View at the entrance to Kiltalown Park to ensure Quad and other motorized bikes are unable to gain access to the Park at this location as residents and park users are being terrorized by the operators of such vehicles.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide bollards on the green area between Redwood and Parkhill. This would prevent  drivers who have no regard for the safety of children playing on the green and have used it as a short cut.

That this Committee, while acknowledging the hard work of the Parks and Environment maintenance staff, calls on the Manager to once and for all address the ongoing problem of when residents associations or voluntary groups agree a pick up date for rubbish and green waste after an estate or park cleanup by them that this Council collects within a set time frame 1-3 days of agreed date.

That this Committee, recognising the damage caused to Council-maintained grass verges, road kerbs and other property, as well as the traffic difficulties caused by roadside parking, asks the Manager to liaise with local sports clubs to investigate late opening of car parks in Tymon Park on relevant weekday nights to accommodate sports teams using the park during the summer months.
