"To ask the Manager to confirm that the Green in Orwell will not be used as a Christmas tree recycle this year and to outline what alternate location will be used?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for the trees around the traffic lights at the junction of Rossmore road, and Cypress Grove Road to be severely pruned as it is very difficult for drivers to see when the lights are changing and this could cause a serious accident?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for the bushes that form the border of the lands at Greentree's Park be cut back as a matter of urgency. These bushes are made up of some very thorny species and pose a serious threat to passersby particularly young children in buggies?"

That this Area Committee calls on the Law Department in conjunction with the Parks Department to immediately resolve the ongoing issue concerning the title of green space/public open space within Kingswood Heights and given the fact that a deed of dedication exists for these lands and the freehold was recently purchased by a third party, that the matter be resolved as soon as possible so that there is absolute certainty concerning the public ownership of these lands and the matter be discussed.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for relevant works to be carried out on Kiltalown View at the entrance to Kiltalown Park to ensure Quad and other motorized bikes are unable to gain access to the Park at this location as residents and park users are being terrorized by the operators of such vehicles.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide bollards on the green area between Redwood and Parkhill. This would prevent drivers who have no regard for the safety of children playing on the green and have used it as a short cut.
That this Committee, while acknowledging the hard work of the Parks and Environment maintenance staff, calls on the Manager to once and for all address the ongoing problem of when residents associations or voluntary groups agree a pick up date for rubbish and green waste after an estate or park cleanup by them that this Council collects within a set time frame 1-3 days of agreed date.
That this Committee, recognising the damage caused to Council-maintained grass verges, road kerbs and other property, as well as the traffic difficulties caused by roadside parking, asks the Manager to liaise with local sports clubs to investigate late opening of car parks in Tymon Park on relevant weekday nights to accommodate sports teams using the park during the summer months.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for inspection of the green space between Bolbrook and Avonmore Park with a view to excavating and levelling the surface particularly adjacent to 18 Avonmore Park to enable depot staff to maintain the area to a satisfactory condition and to prevent it from being a dumping black spot.
That this Committee, in light of the long delay in activating the Greenhills Bowling Green, calls on the Manager to ensure that the Green is opened at the earliest possible opportunity by liaising with the Community Council and Bowling Club to ensure any outstanding issues are dealt with speedily.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to look at the possibility of enhancing the rough ground that runs parallel and opposite the Garage and Tyre fix at the Square.
That this Committee requests that the Planning & Development Departments report back to the committee about the ownership of the open spaces in the Kingswood Heights area covered by land registry folio numbers, *(details supplied) and as to whether open spaces are 1) owned by the council 2) taken in charge 3) maintained by way of a deed of dedication and 4) whether they are zoned as open green space.

That this Committee, as a matter of road safety, supports the introduction of a ban on large vehicles, in particular buses, from Fernhill Road, Mountdown Park and the remainder of Manor Estate (except for access).
That this Committee calls on the Manager in view of the official opening of the M50 road extension to outline if the contractors hoardings, rubble and general litter associated with these works will now be removed and he will agree to carry out an immediate inspection on this route that covers this Committee area.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to seriously investigate the possibility of funding some form of traffic calming or realignment of the roundabout in Deselby Estate before someone is killed as numerous serious accidents have occurred at this location.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to review the operation of the new lights at Orwell Shopping Centre and to ensure that illegal parking by Dublin Bus is stopped. The Parking by Buses which has been a problem for years has been compounded by the new lights.

a) Letter RECEIVED from the Office of the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government, dated 5th August, 2010, as a result of a Motion passed at the Tallaght(2) ACM on 24th May, 2010, in relation to a request to place a refundable deposit on bottles of alcohol within the Tallaght area and eventually rolling this measure out nationally.
b)Letter RECEIVED from the Assistant Director General, FáS, on 15th September, 2010, as a result of a Question submitted to the Tallaght(2) ACM on 22nd March, 2010, in relation to the future use of land formerly their old site in Cookstown industrial estate.
c)Letter RECEIVED from the Private Secretary of Minister for Justice, Equality & Law Reform, on 20th September, 2010, as a result of a Motion passed at the Tallaght(2) ACM on 26th April, 2010, in relation to policing in the Kingswood area.
