QUESTION NO.14
QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy
"To ask the Manager when the acquisition of title to part of the lands at Raheen Close, Springfield/ Whitebrook Park will be registered with the Property Registration Authority, the likely timeframe in obtaining title, the latest discussions with Dublin City Council concerning land exchanges which involve this site also and if the Manager predicts that this matter will come to finality within 6 months?"
REPLY:
Lands adjoining Raheen Estate have been acquired by the Council in recent years including the strip lying between Whitebrook Estate and Raheen Close running from the junction at Raheen Road southwards as far as 56 Raheen Close which is registerd to the Council. Some smaller areas at the southern end of Raheen Close were also acquired by the Council and this matter is awaiting attention by the Property Registration Authority. The intervening portion running along the rear of Raheen Close from Nos 57-73 is in the process of being transferred to this Council from Dublin City Council as part of a larger land exchange. This matter is being actively pursued with Dublin City Council at present and it is anticipated that the exchange will be finalised in the coming months.
