QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager for an update on the legal action being pursued against the developer of the McHugh's site on St James' Rd in Greenhills, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

Members will be aware that the Council is pursuing a Derelict Sites levy of €60,000 from the registered owner of the site of the former Shopping Arcade, St James Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.  The Council must now bring a Motion to the High Court seeking to obtain Judgement.  The Law Department is preparing the Notice of Motion and Grounding Affidavit at present.
