"That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive Officer to consider the further expansion of the Tallaght Leisure Centre site into a sports Hub for the Tallaght area with a view to including a BMX track on the adjoining lands separate to the pitches. The largest local club DCBMX which has almost 100 riders many of which have rode for Ireland at numerous events around the world and who hold many titles have indicated their wish to locate such a track at this location. This club is Nationally affiliated with and officially recognised by Cycling Ireland & Leinster Cycling and the majority of their hugely successful riders are from the Tallaght area"
