QUESTION NO.20
QUESTION: Councillor M. Genockey
"To request the details of the Council’s plans to clean the green spaces around Tallaght that have been left with significant debris after illegal bonfires at Halloween. These green spaces are used by children in the areas to play and the debris has a huge impact on nearby houses who were not responsible for dumping these materials or for lighting the bonfires?"
REPLY:
There were 188 bonfires in the Tallaght area over Halloween 2014, compared to 176 in 2013 and 203 in 2012. The clean up of these sites is well under way and is expected to be completed by Friday November 28th.
