Cathaoirleach's Business

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive Officer to prioritise refurbishing works at Castletymon Library, in particular the paintwork at the front and rear of the library and to modernise the external lighting and shutters.

REPORT:

Discussions are presently taking place with the owner of the building about how the library structure and appearance can be upgraded. These discussions will include the issues raised in the motion and a plan will be drawn up for works to take place in 2015. The Libraries Department will report back to this committee when a plan has been drawn up and timescales allotted.
