QUESTION NO. 34
QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor
"To ask the Chief Executive Officer if he would confirm actions now open to him in respect of issues raised at the October Deputations meeting by Springfield Forum/St. Mark's Residents Association?"
REPLY:
A full report on the discussions which took place, as recorded in the minutes of the Deputation Meeting, have been circulated to all relevant parties.
In summary the Deputation was advised in relation to anti social behaviour and the role of the Gardai; the arrangements for the holding of an on site meeting with the Public Realm (Parks) department; the procedure in relation to the provision of Double Yellow Lines and the role of the Traffic Management Committee and the work of the Council's Social Inclusion Unit and the upcoming Social Inclusion week which takes place from 17th - 24th November next.
It is anticipated that the members of the Deputation will now correspond directly with the relevant departments of the Council in respect of each matter.
