That this Committee agrees that the Council should fully fund the Halloween events organised by the North Clondalkin Community Safety Forum.
That this Committee requests detailed and accessible policy/guidelines on community grants , to include how to apply, what grants available, document accessible and understandable for local community groups.
This Committee agrees that the Council should organise a mini soccer league in Balgaddy as part of the ongoing attempts to provide young people with positive pro-community activities as part of an overall plan to reduce anti-social behaviour in the area.

To ask the Manager to provide a report on all interventions currently being provided in Balgaddy by the Council and in conjunction with other statutory bodies aimed at young people to provide alternatives to the on-going problem of anti-social behaviour.
To ask the Manager to provide a report on the number of windows that have been replaced thus far in the Clondalkin LEA by estate and also provide the number of those that are scheduled to be replaced by estate by the end of this calendar year?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the number of voids in the Clondalkin LEA as of October 1st 2014 including the number of voids, the length of time each property has been void, the estimated length of time each unit will remain void, the number of units void current void that have been allocated and any additional details which the Manager may feel are relevant to this issue.
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on rent arrears owed by Council tenants in the Clondalkin LEA providing the total amount of arrears owed in 2012, 2013 & 2014, the number of properties in arrears broken down by amounts of €500, and the interventions provided by the Council to assist tenants why are having difficulties paying their rents.

This Committee agrees that the Council replace the street signage in Moorefield with the correct Irish translation asap. The Council have agreed to do this work on two occassions and it has not been done as of the timing of this motion.

That this Committee agrees that, in recognition of the negative impact that recent re-zonings and planning decisions have had on the small rural community living on Baldonnell Road, agrees that a community dividend should be provided to this community including: the connection of the houses on the Baldonnell Road to the main water and sewage system and the provision of additional footpaths and street lighting connecting these houses to the local bus terminus.
That the Chief Executive looks into the possibility of allowing on a pilot basis the opening of the barriers on the Grand Canal Green Cycle route at particularly times in the mornings and evenings to allow flow of access. This would allow for quicker journeys and a more user friendly environment for all users of the cycle/pedestrian route.

That this Committee agrees that the CEO writes a letter to the Garda Superintendant of Ronanstown Station asking him for his evaluation of any restraints on policing due to financial constraints given the issues that arose recently in Liffey Valley Centre. Also to request his opinion of the implications on the area.
That this Committee calls on Dublin Bus to improve public transport links in Clondalkin by adding the following services for the area:-
a. A shuttle bus service to the Luas, starting at Green Park shops, going down Boot Road through the Village and to Luas via Monastery Road.
b. A bus service serving the Station Road/ Palmerstown Woods/ Wheatfield Prison which presently has no bus service.
c. A bus service from Clondalkin to Maynooth to serve the big number of students from Clondalkin who attend NUIM.

To ask the Chief Executive to ensure that the Civic Offices and the Plaza in front of them are presented in a manner that befits their central location and their function. The following items need to be addressed:- Litter, Graffitti on the art installation, on the benches and on the windows, Weeds and ivy in the beds adjacent to the building, Shrubs in those beds unkempt, Litter blowing down onto inaccessible Camac banks, (if long promised grids were fitted to railings this could be addressed), Banners and posters on railings, in contravention of poster ban, Sign at Entrance broken (new one promised ages ago), Banner for Creche tatty and needs to be upgraded, Weeds and moss in crevices of paving?
To ask the Chief Executive what provision can be made for Tidy Towns and other voluntary groups in the Clondalkin area with regard to access to water for watering plants and flower beds now that water charges have commenced?
To ask the Chief Executive if the Norwegian Maple trees outside (* Address supplied) can be removed? While the trees are beautiful, they exude sap which covers cars, windows and paved areas. The residents are prepared to pay for replacement trees of a different species, if necessary.
To ask the Chief Executive how many cash for cars signs have been taken down this year and last year , broken down by year. and how many fines have been issues / paid?

That this Committee agrees that the Chief Executive should provide a report for debate at the Area Committee on the current state of the fishing facility in Corkagh Park detailing the current management arrangements for the facility, an assessment as to why there were no successful tenders for the facility in the summer, and the plans for the facility in the future.
That the area committee congratulate and commend the tremendous work of all the Tidy Town entrants from all parts of the Clondalkin area and agree that a local awards system should be looked at for the area.
That the Chief Executive consider the inclusion of a fairy wood in Rathcoole's new natural play space.
That the Chief Executive updates Councillors on the action taken in relation to Derelict Sites : RIC Barracks; Lexington; Esso; Raheen House
That this Committee supports the immediate opening of a pedestrian gap to enable residents from Alpine and Ashwood to access the Fonthill Road without having to climb over a wall which is topped with a fence, as we pointed out during debates on this issue over the last few years, this is a serious accident waiting to happen and failure to open a pedestrian gap, with or without a cycle path, is unthinkable.
That this Committee agrees that the Council in conjunction with the Round Towers GAA club should increase the provision of juvenile GAA pitches in Corkagh Park.
