MOTION NO. 11

MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

That this Committee calls on Dublin Bus to improve public transport links in Clondalkin by adding the following services for the area:-

a. A shuttle bus service to the Luas, starting at Green Park shops, going down Boot Road through the Village and to Luas via Monastery Road.

b. A bus service serving the Station Road/ Palmerstown Woods/ Wheatfield Prison which presently has no bus service.

c. A bus service from Clondalkin to Maynooth to serve the big number of students from Clondalkin who attend NUIM.

REPORT:

If the Motion is passed the matter will be referred to Dublin Bus for their attention and when a reply is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
