QUESTION NO. 9

QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin

To ask the Chief Executive for a report on the taking in charge of Ballynakelly/Newcastle Lyons including a full list of all works agreed with the liquidator and receiver in order for the estate to be completed, a breakdown of the timescale for these works; and a list of all services that will become the responsibility of the Council when the estate is finally taken into charge.

REPLY:

Works to be completed as part of Taking In Charge (TIC) process as agreed with the Liquidator.

Foul water network, Surface water network, Manholes, Gullies, Pollution Control, Road surfacing, Parking spaces, public lighting, Public open space, footpaths, watermains and As-Built drawings.

It is expected that all these works will be complete by mid December 2014 within the occupied section of the scheme.

All of the above excluding the Watermain and Foul Sewer will become the responsibility of SDCC when they are TIC.
