That this committee request a briefing from Dublin Bus following the recent consultative process to outline any proposed route changes affecting Clondalkin/Rathcoole/Saggart & Newcastle prior to implementation.

To ask the Manager will he take measures to address the serious problem of littering and dumping all across the Clondalkin area and will he look in particular at the following areas.
a. Glenfield / Harelawn / Greenfort and the areas outside the entrances to St Bernadette's schools in Quarryvale
b. Foxdene, Balgaddy
c. St Cuthbert's Park, South West Clondalkin
To ask the Manager what can be done to address the problem caused by alarms going off incessantly particularly at night time. This problem has been reported all across the Clondalkin Electoral area.
To ask the Manager what can be done to address the litter problem at John's Wood, Clondalkin adjacent to the pedestrian access to the main road.
To ask the Manager for a clean up of the area around Clondalkin Civic Offices particularly the river bank inside the railing
To ask the Manager that this Committee requests that all households in the Clondalkin electoral area be fully advised of changes to the refuse collection.

That this Committee outlines how the Manager intends to deal with constituents' queries about bins not being collected in the Clondalkin , Brittas, Saggart, Newcastle, Rathcoole areas? Can anything be done if bins are uncollected for 3 days / 5 days / 7 days?
That this Committee seeks a meeting with the Minister for Local Government, regarding the privatisation of the bin collections in Clondalkin. Can the Minister put funding in place to keep it in private hands? Can the Minister give powers back to the Councillors to put this decision in the Councillors hands ?

To ask the Manager what more can be done to address the problem of illegal parking outside St Bernadette's Schools at Greenfort, Clondalkin which is causing serious risk to the safety of pupils there
To ask the manager to report to this committee on the ownership & responsibility of the laneway to the side of Rye Cottage, Boot Road. Also, what would be required to close it off as it is a constant dumping area as well as being a magnet for anti-social activity.
To ask the Manager to ask the relevant Minister(s) to review the proposed 'overpass' at the Newlands Cross Interchange considering the negative impact it will have on both residential properties and local businesses and also considering the changed economic climate.

That the Clondalkin Area Committee request the Council Roads Department install a pedestrian crossing at Super Valu on the Neillstown Road.
That the manager presents a report on the requested safety measures around the gates of St Josephs BNS, Clondalkin.
That this Committee requests that the broken parts of the fence along footpath at 9th Lock Rd. be repaired and the broken blue netting be removed . This road is probably the most unkempt in this Councils control.
That the Manager will take measures to improve the appearance of the area outside Archbishop Ryan School, Balgaddy including addressing the unsightly grass verge outside the school. Further that the manager will address the disorderly parking that takes place in the same area.
That this Committee outlines what work is being done on the Fonthill Road - Newlands to the new Nangor Road. and the costs of these works?
That the Clondalkin Area Committee request the Council Roads Department to repair the crash barriers at the roundabout on the Coldcut/Neilstown Road.
That the manager repairs the damaged kerbing at the St Brigids Road/Drive junction AND repairs the grass verge damaged by commercial vehicles regularly having to mount the verge AND installs timber posts to protect the verge similar to those in situ across the road.
That the Manager will take measures to provide a continuous footpath between The Mill Shopping Centre and Colaiste Chillian on Nangor Road, Clondalkin thereby addressing the serious risk to the lives of pedestrians.
That the Clondalkin Area Committee request the Council Roads Department repair the pavement outside the gates of St Peter the Apostle School on the Neilstown Road.

That the manager agrees to draw up a short term plan of action to address the presentation issues in Newcastle Village. The area has been affected particularly badly by the current crisis resulting in a relatively high number of vacant & unfinished housing developments, site hoardings, etc. If agreed this process should involve the local community.

That the Clondalkin Area Committee request the Council's Housing Estate Management Section replace the small grass area in front of (Address supplied) with appropriate car parking facilities for local residents.
That this Committee requests that a full briefing re.new housing policies be given to the next Clondalkin meeting.

a. A detailed list of the works which require to be done in each housing unit

c. The extent to which there is sufficient money to carry out the works and
d. Where any shortfall of money to do the work might be found.
