MOTION NO. 15

MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

That the Manager will take measures to provide a continuous footpath between The Mill Shopping Centre and Colaiste Chillian on Nangor Road, Clondalkin thereby addressing the serious risk to the lives of pedestrians.

REPORT:

There is a continuous footpath on the south side of the Old Nangor Road between The Mill Shopping Centre and Colaiste Chillian. There is also a footpath on the north side from the school as far as the new apartments. To provide a path between the apartments and the shopping centre would require the acquisition of private lands as there is currently not adequate width at this location.
