At present due to the location a large amount of materials other than bottles are being dumped at the location and this material is then being blown all over the road and grass area.

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to take whatever action is necessary to deal with local concerns in respect of the proposed Pavilion at Dodder Valley Park, Old Bawn and will the Chief Executive particularly ensure that contact is made with Old Bawn Residents Association and Parkwood Residents Association who have lodged objections in the matter and in responding will the Chief Executive appreciate the importance of this project being delivered to the benefit of the local community.

That this Committee requests that the Chief Executive examines the possibility of re-introducing funding for the Estates Management projects that were previously in operation in areas of the Tallaght South LEA. Included in this review would be discussions with other organisations that could be in a position to manage the project with funding from the Council, such as the South Dublin County Partnership. This Motion recognises the value of the contribution of these Estate Managers in issues such as tenanting policy, surrender of houses, local knowledge on anti-social behaviour issues etc.
