"To ask the Manager to have removed as a matter of urgency the tarmacadem stump on the footpath outside the Glenabbey building on the Belgard road in view of the danger to pedestrians and will the Manager note that this issue has been raised before with the Roads Department and will the Manager make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager to have arranged the repair of the footpath at *(details supplied), in view of its dangerous condition and will the Manager please note that it is my understanding that this work was included in the estimates for 2005 and will the Manager make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if there are any plans in place to improve or widen the roads that surround the roundabout on Ballycullen Road, which connects up the Ballycullen area with the M50 and the Firhouse Road area and given the horrendous problem of traffic build-up in the mornings and evening at this roundabout, if immediate measures are proposed by the Council to deal with this issue and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if consideration will be given to the establishment of a box junction and/or traffic lights at the Carrigmore entrance to Fortunestown Lane in Saggart, given the extensive problems of traffic congestion in the mornings for residents attempting to leave this estate, if consideration has been given to widening the Fortunestown Lane at this point, say the introduction of two lanes between here and the N82 roundabout, and if he could set out what traffic plans have been put in place before the establishment of the new Citywest Retail Centre close to the N82 roundabout, and the impact it will have on local traffic, and particularly the impact in relation to the housing estate in Carrigmore, and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if he would consider establishing a pedestrian crossing on the Ballycullen Avenue, allowing pedestrians to access the shops and local services coming from the Woodlawn Park Avenue area of Firhouse and given the proximity of the local national school and a local church and given the fact that a dangerous bend exists on this road, if positive consideration would be given to this proposal to establish such a pedestrian facility on this stretch of the road, which is clearly dangerous and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"To ask the Manager if plans are now in place to introduce traffic calming on the newly established road between The Belfry and Deselby and given the concerns of residents of The Belfry about speeding and the clear need for traffic calming measures along this new road, if he would agree to consider this proposal positively, or if this is not available in the short-term, can other measures be proposed to reduce speeding and improve safety conditions for all those houses in the four cul de sacs just off this new road in The Belfry and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
