BALROTHERY - FOOTPATHS

QUESTION: Councillor M. Murphy

"To ask the Manager, three years ago work was done on the footpaths in Balrothery to make them wheelchair accessible and to repair any damage. Only half the estate was complete within the budget allocated at the time. When does the Manager expect to be able to complete the work?"

REPLY:

Footpath repairs were carried out in Balrothery in 2003. Further inspections will take place again and all wheelchair accessible problems surveyed. Balrothery is not included in the 2006 Footpath Repair Programme.  However, if specific locations are identified they will be addressed.
