The total number of new RAS tenancies started in 2013 and to date in 2014 3. An explanation as to why ASH is included in the Allocations section of the report and RAS is not, given that they are both forms of leasing with private sector houses

This Committee calls on the Manager to investigate the installation of a new heating system in the Cherryville, Clondalkin and to outline the possibilities of funding that installation.

This Committee agrees that the manager should table a report for discussion at the meeting on the outstanding management fees owed by South Dublin County Council to the management company at the Bawnogue shops. The report should include the total amount of monies owed by the Council, the period for which these fees are due and the reason why the Council has not paid the fees. This Committee also agrees that the Council should now make arrangements to pay these outstanding fees as a matter of urgency in order to assist the management company raise the funds for the resurfacing of the carpark which is currently in a very dangerous condition.

This Committee supports the Ciaran Carr Foundation in it's efforts to make Clondalkin a heart friendly village. They wish to place defibrillators at various premises around the village with signage to publicise their availability.  The group will fund the signage.   Could the Manager present a report on how they should proceed in relation to the signage.

This committee agrees that communities living in rural parts of the Clondalkin LEA, such as those on the Baldonnell Road, should receive a community dividend as the commercially zoned lands surrounding them are developed. In this spirit this committee further agrees that in light of the ongoing development of lands between the New Nangor Road and Baldonnell Road the Council should explore improvement in local infrastructure and undertake to extend the water and sewage mains to houses on the Baldonnell Road.
