This Committee commends the idea of all weather / AstroTurf pitches being installed adjacent to the Knockmitten Community Centre and asks the manager to suggest possible funding sources.

To ask the Manager to explain why the bollards at Camac River 'board walk' Orchard Road have not been removed and when will they be removed?
To ask the Manager, further to the housing procurement and allocation report presented to the March Area Committee to answer the following questions: 1. Why the 2013 figures in the allocations section of the report were different to the figures presented to the Area Committee in September 2013 and to indicate which set of figures are correct. 2. The total number of new RAS tenancies started in 2013 and to date in 2014 3. An explanation as to why ASH is included in the Allocations section of the report and RAS is not, given that they are both forms of leasing with private sector houses
To ask the Manager why Question No 5 at the March 2014 Area Committee (which referred back to Motion 23 at the December 2013 area committee) was not answered correctly and to ask the Manager to provide a proper answer to the question as asked.

This Committee calls on the Manager to investigate the installation of a new heating system in the Cherryville, Clondalkin and to outline the possibilities of funding that installation.
This Committee agrees that the manager should table a report for discussion at the meeting on the outstanding management fees owed by South Dublin County Council to the management company at the Bawnogue shops. The report should include the total amount of monies owed by the Council, the period for which these fees are due and the reason why the Council has not paid the fees. This Committee also agrees that the Council should now make arrangements to pay these outstanding fees as a matter of urgency in order to assist the management company raise the funds for the resurfacing of the carpark which is currently in a very dangerous condition.
This Committee supports the Ciaran Carr Foundation in it's efforts to make Clondalkin a heart friendly village. They wish to place defibrillators at various premises around the village with signage to publicise their availability. The group will fund the signage. Could the Manager present a report on how they should proceed in relation to the signage.

To ask the Manager that the Council, in consultation with the Knockmitten Community Centre and Knockmitten United FC, explore the possibility of undertaking some remedial work on the surface of the basketball court beside the Community Centre as the area in question is in a very bad state of disrepair?

This Committee supports the idea of the building of a playspace at Harelawn estate in Clondalkin and requests that Harelawn be added to the list for the provision of such play spaces.
That this Committee agrees to prune the tree at 4 Rowlagh Crescent this month, residents are afraid it will come in through the window one of these days
This Committee agrees that the Manager will table a report for discussion on the pedestrian access gate to the park at Cherrywood Drive detailing previous requests for this gate to be locked at night and to outline options for residents to assist them in reducing the levels of anti social behaviour arising from this gate being open at night time.
That the manager reports on the following outstanding item-
1. Sally Park- SDCC previously agreed to cut back overgrowth in an effort to restrict rubbish gathering and also to open/tidy up the area, can I ask when we can expect this work to be carried out?
This Committee agrees that the Council should provide stone name signs for the Boot Road and Rockfield Drive at the entrance to the estate and to provide signage to assist people locate the house numbers again at both entrances to the estate.
That the manager presents a report on tree works required in Micheal Collins Park in relation to pruning, removal and planting

To ask the Manager to give an update regarding the 60k allocated to SDCC Tidy Towns Groups in the budget and outline how much is going to Clondalkin TT and when they will see this money?
To ask the Manager to provide a report on the County Manager's initiative on improving the gateways into South Dublin including the Clondalkin entry via the Red Cow roundabout.

That this Committee be updated on the progress of the regulations which will encourage shopowners to keep the area in front of their premises clean. When will the regulations come into operation, how will business owners in the Clondalkin area be notified of their responsibilities and how will the regulations be enforced.
That this Committee requests the Manager to provide a report for discussion on ongoing problems with illegal dumping and overgrown trees and bushes on the laneway at the rear of houses in Neilstown Drive that runs from Collinstown Road to the cul-de-sac in Neilstown Drive along the boundary of Collinstown College and the Neilstown Estate; the report should also outline possible actions that can be taken to resolve the ongoing problems.
That the Manager agrees to clean the Old Nangor Road including the side ditches outside Scoil Mochua and up towards (*Address supplied).
That the Manager addresses the horses being left in St Cuthberths Park and the dirty hay being spread around the park just opposite Grange View Estate/Old Castle Drive and the stable at (*Address supplied)

That the Manager outlines proposals (in conjunction with Waterways Ireland or other bodies if needs be) to address the issue of the blocked drainage between the back of Cappaghmore and the canal
This committee agrees that communities living in rural parts of the Clondalkin LEA, such as those on the Baldonnell Road, should receive a community dividend as the commercially zoned lands surrounding them are developed. In this spirit this committee further agrees that in light of the ongoing development of lands between the New Nangor Road and Baldonnell Road the Council should explore improvement in local infrastructure and undertake to extend the water and sewage mains to houses on the Baldonnell Road.
