MOTION NO. 4

MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

This Committee supports the Ciaran Carr Foundation in it's efforts to make Clondalkin a heart friendly village. They wish to place defibrillators at various premises around the village with signage to publicise their availability.  The group will fund the signage.   Could the Manager present a report on how they should proceed in relation to the signage.

REPORT:

The County Architect will liaise with the group under the auspices of the Villages Initiative Project to determine scale, location and design of appropriate signage in the light of current wayfinding in public signage strategy now in preparation.  The Group should contact the County Architect to arrange a meeting to discuss signage.
