That the Manager propose allternative sites for the 10 traveller accommodation units proposed at Ballynakelly, Newcastle.
This Committee agrees that the Manager should bring a report for discussion at the Committee on the window and door replacement programme for the Clondalkin LEA in 2014 entailing the amount of money to be spent in the LEA this year, the number of units that can expect to have doors and/or windows replaced and the schedule of works completed to date in 2014 and expected to be undertaken for the remainder of the year
That this Committee supports the request by both Clondalkin Tidy Towns & Active Retirement for some seating/benches to be provided at strategic locations throughout the village
That this Committee agrees to erect a wall on the patio area of the Valhalla housing complex, facing onto residents in Castle Grove, so that no one can look over into residents gardens.

That the Manager present a report on the issue of lighting at Knockmitten Community Centre. This has been out of order for some time and the lack of lighting is deterring people from using the Centre at night time.

That this Committee commends all council staff who were involved in the development of the Fairy Wood concept in Corkagh Park and who organised the very successful launch event.

To ask the Manager for a report on the holding of a horse fair at the former Mc Cormick Mc Naughton premises on the Naas Road over the weekend of March 1st and 2nd. What can be done to prevent this type of thing happening again?
To ask the Manager to arrange a major clean up of the Camac river bed in the Clondalkin Park region (community centre) from the Fonthill Road to the Old Nangor Road bridge asap in preparation for the adjudication for the Tidy Towns Competition.
To ask the Manager what the situation is in relation to the erection of Dog fouling signs in the Clondalkin area? A number of residents groups have wanted them for their estates. Have many signs been erected?
To ask the Manager for a report on the ongoing problem of dumping and flytipping at Knockmeenagh and St Bridget's Cottages.

That the Manager give an update on the plans for watering of flower beds in the Clondalkin area during the Summer season. What planting will be included in the watering contract? In order to supplement this, can access be given to water by the Tidy Towns at the council offices so that members don't have to draw water from the camac or use water from their own homes.
That this Committee agrees that the Manager brings a report to the meeting outlining the schedule of work over the coming 12 months on the entrance and car park at the Clondalkin leisure centre including the following works; cleaning the recycling facility; upgrading the lighting; resurfacing the car park; pruning and improving the trees & shrubs; improving the visual impact of the entrance; and any other matters that have been brought to the Council's attention following the negative commentary of this location from the National Tidy Towns report in 2013. The committee also agrees that the manager will provide monthly updates on this work in the form of a regular headed item at the area committee.
That the Manager states whether it was legal to run a buying and selling horse show on the land beside the louis fitzgerald hotel (former mccormacks site) over the weekend 1st/2nd March 2014 and bans any future fairs from happening on this site.
That this Committee condemns the recent unauthorised horse fair held in this LAC area and requests that the Manager takes appropriate action against landowner
That this Area Committee call on SDCC Environmental Services to install a bottle bank provision in North Clondalkin. This subject has been raised on numerous occasions without a coherent reply as the reasons why bottle banks can not be installed.
That this Committee agrees to install a number of dog fouling signs in Monastery Gate.
